Algonquin Hoodie (Spruce Green)

Purchased an Algonquin hoodie at the Cottage Life Show a few years ago and it has been a favorite of mine. Recently looked up the website and purchased another one in green. I love that it's cozy but not heavy and the slightly longer length is very flattering. I get compliments on it all the time. Best part.....it's Canadian!!! Keep up the good work!

I have this model in 2 colours and absolutely love them. Not to thick so I'm not over heating. Also, a little longer then regular hoodies. I enjoy this a lot as it doesn't ride up when doing sports. I will absolutely getting more of these in the near futur.

I bought a size small and it fits me perfectly (I'm 5'3 with a more athletic build). The colour is just as it looks on the website. It's a thinner material, but still warm and cozy - and I love the kangaroo pockets. I also like that it's a slightly longer fit with the rounded hem, which is great for wearing it with leggings. Would definitely buy again in other colours.

I ordered this in green. Colour is great. Material is very soft. It is a sweat terry so would not be overly warm. Following the size guide I would be a small (5’6 135lbs). Noting it was slim fit and wanting something loose I ordered a medium. It was shipped and arrived promptly. The medium fit but neatly. Since it is not a warm fleece I would probably end up with a t shirt or long sleeve t under it and the medium was too small for that. I looks like a male style cut as the arms were long and the hips tight. I was concerned if it shrunk at all in the wash I would not be able to wear it anymore. So if you are ordering I’d consider1 or even 2 sizes up. The big issue for me was quality. The serger threads were not cut off in many places, unfinished, or so close to the seam the material was shredding. I suspected that hem would be undone after 1 or 2 washes. The tag was sewn on with the thread pulled through a good 3 cm. I could have gone through and trimmed all the threads and reinforced the area where the serger cut too close and the material was shredding, but opted to reach out and return. I emailed with a few pics and the same day had a return post paid tag. I returned and was fully refunded probably the same day they received it. Overall I found the quality was not there for the price but I did appreciate the prompt no questions asked customer service. That doesn’t always happen. Hopefully I just got an off run that snuck through quality inspection.
